Συγκεκριμένα, η ARAI ξεκάθαρα μέσα στο site της ορίζει τα 5 έτη χρήσης (από την ημερομηνία αγοράς) ή, μέγιστο, τα 7 έτη από την ημερομηνία κατασκευής. Αν πχ. εν έτει 2019, αγοράσω κράνος κατασκευής 2013, η εγγύηση ισχύει για ένα μόνο χρόνο ακόμα, κ.ο.κ.
Και που αναγράφεται η ημερομηνία παραγωγής?
- πάνω στο D-ring για τα έτη κατασκευής από τέλος δεκαετίας 2000's έως σήμερα (φώτο με νούμερο 2)
- στο άσπρο ταμπελάκι που βρίσκεται στο λουράκι για το μέσο της δεκαετίας 2000's (φώτο με νούμερο 3)
- σφραγισμένο στο δέρμα που έχει το λουράκι για την αρχή της δεκαετίας 2000's (φώτο με νούμερο 4)
Και πως αναγράφεται η ημερομηνία παραγωγής?
Είτε με αριθμό μήνα/χρονολογια (πχ. 08/17 = Αύγούστος 2017), είτε με κωδικό ενός κεφαλαίου γράμματος της Αγγλικής που ακολουθείται από δυο νούμερα. Το γράμμα είναι η χρονολογία κατασκευής και οι αριθμοί ο μήνας (πχ. Q08 = Αύγούστος 2017). Λυσάρι ο παρακάτω πίνακας:

Γιατί λίγοι έχουν μοτοσυκλετιστικό μπουφάν, μπότες, γάντια κτλ, αλλά όλοι έχουν ένα κράνος, επειδή είναι το πιο σημαντικό κομμάτι από τον εξοπλισμό για την ΑΣΦΑΛΕΙΑ μας.

2 years extra free for the K5, K3, K3 SV
1 year extra free for any other model including MDS and Diesel helmets
SUOMY
Suomy guarantees exclusively the helmet and its components for a period of two years from the purchasing date as regards conformity defects. Suomy undertakes to repair the defective product (or one of its part) or to replace it (at Suomy S.p.A.’s discretion), with no extra charge for the parts and the labour.
HJC
This warranty is applicable for manufacturer’s defects only and is good for three years from the date of purchase. (RPHA series are subject to five year limited warranty. It does not apply to any problems arising out of wearer’s misuse, negligence, modifications, accident, etc).
AIROH
If any defect covered by the limited warranty is detected within 2 years from the date of purchase, Airoh® shall repair or replace the defective product through its own distribution network, after the defect has been verified.
